Sang Kim Joins Symposia Labs as Technology Director

HOLLAND, Mich. (November 30, 2020) – Symposia Labs has hired Sang Kim in a new role as the organization’s full-time Technology Director. A growing client base across industries including manufacturing, SaaS, e-commerce, nonprofits, higher education, and more has also fueled the need for Symposia to grow its staff and services in 2020. This resulted in the need for strategic hires such as Kim, who says that “Our mission is creating the most streamlined and effective web processes that fully support our clients, their unique goals, and their scalable success”. 

Previously a Senior Developer at a marketing/PR agency, Kim focuses on building websites while also bearing strengths in web design, product photography, and copywriting. Uniquely, he has been coding since the age of 14 and has since built a portfolio of hundreds of client builds that vary in form, including simple brochure style, e-commerce solutions, mobile apps, and more. When working with clients, Kim has experience articulating complex ideas and helping clients realize that discovering and creating their vision is our passion.

Since its inception in 2012, Symposia has been offering a variety of technology-based projects including custom website updates & integrations, landing page creation, SEO, e-commerce setup, emails & other automations, and more. In addition to a growing client base, Symposia added start-to-finish web development to its services in early 2020. All the way from initial brainstorming to strategic website design and coding to implementation and testing, Kim will play an integral role in further developing Symposia’s web and technology processes. 

Recent and ongoing technology projects for Symposia include complete development of websites for iQ Labs, Maple Tree Marketing, and Symposia itself.
